The smallest adjustments can change the way something is perceived.

A lapel is a good example. It doesn’t dominate a garment, rather, it gives it shape. It frames the wearer, sharpens the silhouette, and often says more about the piece than its loudest characteristics. Lapel was built around that same idea.

Bergamot and pineapple open with brightness, sharpened by pink pepper. Mandarin zest, rosemary, and red thyme bring an aromatic clarity through the center before Spanish cypress, Virginia cedar, and sandalwood give the fragrance its structure. Amber settles underneath, adding warmth without taking away its edge.

Lapel was never meant to feel overly composed.  Its character exists in the space between structure and ease.

Its character comes from the tension between structure and ease. The same way a well-cut jacket looks better slightly undone. The same way personal style becomes more interesting when it stops looking rehearsed.
